BMC Dianostic Tool README


This program will execute automatically to flash on board BMC to latest firmware and dump original firmware for analysis.  


1. Prepare a bootable USB disk with DOS OS.  Refer to below link for how to:

2. Extract this directory to the USB disk, includes
- DOS4GW.EXE
- ROM.IMA
- S_BMCMAC.EXE
- SOCFLASH.EXE
- SOCWMAC.EXE
- README.TXT

3. Boot to DOS, execute SOCWMAC.exe

4. The program will automatically dump on board BMC ROM file, which maybe damaged one.

5. The program will automatically backup on board BMC MAC address, which maybe empty.

6. After dump on board ROM file and MAC address, the program will install latest file to board.

7. The program will flash ROM.ima included in this package to board, which is latest version.

8. The program will flash original BMC MAC address to the board, if original is empty it will random generate one.

9. Program ends. Please send your dumped ROM file to ASRock contact.
